Gungad
A solo mosquito-swatting game with a global leaderboard.
Play Gungad →Gungad is the odd one out in the JossUp lineup: a solo game rather than a multiplayer icebreaker. You get a swatter and a stream of mosquitoes to hit. Points for hits, penalties for misses, and a global high-score board to chase. It's the two-minute distraction people play between meetings.
How to play
Move the swatter with your mouse or your finger. Tap or click to swat. Mosquitoes appear at different speeds and heights; harder mosquitoes are worth more points. You have a set time window to score as high as you can.
The optional twist: upload an image and use it as the swat target. Everyone has their own idea about whose face belongs on it. We do not judge.
Tips
- Swat ahead of the mosquito, not on top of it. There's a tiny animation delay.
- Ignore the slow, easy mosquitoes when a fast one appears — they're worth more.
- On mobile, use your thumb, not your index finger. Better aim, less fatigue.
The leaderboard
Scores are submitted anonymously with your display name. Only your best score is kept. The board resets periodically — if you're near the top and want to stay there, come back and defend your spot.
