These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of jossup.com and the games hosted there (the "Service"), operated by JossUp ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use JossUp. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are using JossUp on behalf of an organization (for example, running a team icebreaker for your employer), you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on that organization's behalf.

2. The Service

JossUp provides browser-based multiplayer and solo games. Multiplayer rooms are ephemeral — they exist only while players are actively using them. The Service is provided free of charge, and we may add, remove, or change features at any time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes another person's rights.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
• Upload malware, run automated attacks, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise interfere with the technical operation of the Service.
• Use the Service to collect personal information about other players.

We may remove content, suspend rooms, or block users who violate these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

4. User content

You retain ownership of anything you submit through the Service (game answers, story sentences, uploaded images, and so on). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content within your game room for the duration of the session. We do not use your content for advertising or resale.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. Do not share information you don't want the other people in your room to see.

5. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising. We display ads through Google AdSense. See our Privacy Policy for details on how ads are personalized and how you can opt out of personalized advertising.

6. Intellectual property

The JossUp name, logo, game designs, source code, and site design are our property or that of our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JossUp and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
